What do we think of this? A rugby tackling aid which might just be something more than a fun roundaround toy.

I need to test one out myself.

I purchased the rubetube in July last year and within 30 mins i noticed the change in the way the kids tackled. Timing and technique improved tenfold – to the point where the kids in my team became more confident in tackling. Reading the point of contact is a hard concept to teach with stationary bags. Now they a reading defensive play better and rather than chase the tail they a cutting direct lines to cover across field and make tackles. This is due to the motion of the rubetube. Front on / side on and chasing tackles can all be performed. My son has gone from falling off tackles to hitting / wrapping the player up and taking them to ground. Would recommend this to any player and coach.
